Adidas sambas are all over my Instagram explore page and Tiktok feed. I almost convinced myself into getting a pair, but then took a step back and though, "I don't want to look like everyone else." Plus, trends that get so much hype so quickly, or bound to die faster than the actual trend is alive.

The Adidas Sambas have been around since the 1950's and were designed originally for playing soccer. They were known for being a super lightweight, durable, and comfortable shoe right out of the box. I have read some reviews that say otherwise and claim there is a one week break-in time.
In addition to the sambas being around for so long, they are also very versatile due to it's minimal design. You can throw them on with a pair of sweats or a pair of jeans and tank. With these sneakers being super versatile and affordable, people are buying them like hotcakes.
The reason why they have gained such an immense amount of attention recently is because they're heavily worn by celebrities like Hailey Beiber, Rihanna, Billie Eilish, and more.Plus, Adidas has done a really good job with making strategic collaborating with famous influencers on social media.

Regardless, despite these crazy new trends, it's important to stay to true to what you actually like and what resonates with your style. Because, trends come and go - don't waste you're money on the something you don't love and does not resonate!
