Heading to pilates? Then you’ve gotta dress the part! A cute workout outfit can make or break your workout vibe.
I remember once getting influenced to buy a pair of leggings from a random website and they turned out to be too loose during downward dog—big no-no.
As someone who goes to pilates regularly, I've discovered a few brands that I just can't live without. These workout staples look as good as they feel—no matter how many times they spin through the wash, they come out looking just like new. That's why I've decided to spotlight them in a blog post! I'm really excited to share the perfect pieces on what to wear to pilates - lets get into it.
These are a best-seller on the Alo website. These leggings are very flattering on and the best part is after a sweaty workout session the pants dry super fast.
One verified buyer said, "Obsessed. So soft and material doesn’t collect dog hair (requirement for my leggings). Material also feels like it will hold up for years. Worth the money! I’m a 4 in Lululemon leggings and the small fit PERFECT. 7/8 also perfect for my all the petite gals and isn’t too loose at the ankles like some 7/8 can be."
Comes in petite lengths! I have a pair of leggings from Split59 and they are very form fitting and flattering. It's the perfect amount of high waist and end right by my ankle. I think they are great for wearing to pilates or a morning walk. Comes with a matching sports bra tank.
One women left a review and said, "Hands down best leggings I have owned. Material is slinky, comfy and hugs in all the right places. 34 inch inseam is such a perfect fit too, I never find leggings that are long enough until I found these!!! Size up to your usual- I’m normally an S but bought the M and it fits perfect."
Keep it super simple and just throw on a unitard with a jacket or crew neck sweater on top. Not only are they insanely comfortable, but can be worn for running errands or a casual lunch date.

I have these exact leggings, and I aways get compliments on them. They are the updated version of the align leggings and they are way better than the older version. They are buttery soft and weightless making it feel like you're wearing nothing at all. They are very form fitting, plus dog hair doesn't get stuck to them as easily. If you're a dog owner you know how important that is.
If you're on the fence about spending a $100 on leggings, check out these review from a recent customer:
"Wow, these leggings really are worth the hype. If you’re feeling a little skeptical about blowing $100 on leggings…I can tell you with %100 certainty that I will pay full price for these leggings every single time for the quality it offers. they will never dig in, and they feel like soft butter and are the best leggings i’ve ever put on my body."

I have these in the leggings version and they are by far the softest and most comfortable leggings I own. They have the perfect amount of stretch and great for almost any activity with the exception of running. Whenever I feel like wearing sweatpants but need to look more "put together", I always reach for these.
It also has a matching sports bra.
I also have these Lululemon biker shorts and they are very versatile. Wear them to your pilates workout or pair with a crewneck for your morning coffee run. These are more compressive than the Beyond Yoga shorts but still very comfortable. I find that the 6 inch length is just right - not too short or too long.

If you're heading to hot pilates, you'll want to keep it light —trust me on this one. Go for clothing that's functional and cute, sticking to breathable, moisture-wicking fabrics that won’t stick to your skin as you start to sweat.
I'm a fan of seamless leggings and form-fitting tank tops or sports bras that let you move easily. I'll sometimes swap out the leggings for biker shorts if I am in the mood. you can top it off with a cute headband to keep your hair out of the way. You really want to just stay cool and comfortable throughout the workout.
