13 Lightweight Sweaters For Fall That Will Keep You Perfectly Warm

|

Time to read 4 min

I can't believe it's already Fall - it feels like yesterday I was being bombarded by Positano and Amalfi Coast content. Honestly, I'm kinda glad it's over, because I'm really craving Christmas music and chai lattes.

Now that the seasons are changing, so is your wardrobe. It's time to put the crop tops and bikinis away and bring out the cute sweaters and sherpa jackets that have been shoved in the corner of your closet for 6 months.

Fall is that in-between season of where it's sort of hot, but also cold. When you wear a hoodie, you start to sweat, but when you wear a t-shirt your freezing. So, we took the liberty to find some of the best lightweight sweaters for fall that will keep you at perfect temperature throughout the day.

From trendy companies like Abercrombie and Anthropologie, to higher end labels like Loewe, there is something here that we're sure you will like.

We also put in some cute cropped cardigan sweaters, so that you can pair them with your high waisted jeans or leggings and platform UGGS!

If you're not a fan of the cropped cardigan vibe, we have some really cute oversized sweaters sprinkled in here too.

Now, let's get into the best 13 lightweight sweaters for fall. Happy shopping! xx

5. J. Crew Cotton-blend cropped V-neck cardigan sweater

J. Crew has a lot of timeless and good quality pieces. They're prices are a bit pricey in my opinion but they have good sales and discounts time to time. They are having 30% off full-priced items right now. This cropped cardigan pairs really nicely with trousers and a belt.

6. KULE THE TWIGGY LIGHTWEIGHT SWEATER

This is giving “grandpas cardigan” and i'm here for it. Super classy, timeless, and pairs well with anything - a mini skirt and boots, trousers, or even jeans!

If you aren't familiar with this brand, it was founded by a women named Nikki Kule. Nikki's journey in the fashion industry started with her parents, Gene "King of Pants" Kule and Arlene, who founded Happy Legs in 1970s New York. She studied at Parsons and refined her style in Paris, New York, and Rome.

After her first child was born, Nikki seized the opportunity to create high-end childrenswear, launching KULE in 2001. She made history as the second childrenswear designer to join the CFDA.

Later, she transitioned to womenswear and relaunched KULE in 2015, specializing in perfect stripe tees. Now, with mens and kids collections, the brand has come full circle, dressing the whole family once again.

We love a brand that carries a historic story. Definitely check them out!

7. UO Silence + Noise Claudia Off-The-Shoulder Sweater

This comes in different shades. Super cute to pair it with trousers for a cozy night out to dinner. Looks soft af too. The reviews are also really promising. Someone said, “The cutest ever, such a perfect color and is perfectly slouchy (but like not to the point where you can’t keep it on). The fabric isn’t itchy at all and it’s a pretty light colored fall staple.”
